Our guest presenter was Mr.Keith Fitz-Gerald. Mr. Fitz-Gerald specializes in Global Investing with an emphasis on Asian markets. He discussed his views and philosophy of investing in the China Market. His most salient advise was that rather than investing "In" China an investor should be investing "Because" of China. That is, investments should be made in companies that benefit from the growth of China, which may not necessarily be Chinese Companies. He used a number of specific examples to illustrate his philosophy. He also discussed the potential volatility in the Chinese market. Attendance: 138 |
