Gary Banner, CCIM, CRE Gary Banner, the President-elect of the Commercial Alliance of Las Vegas, the commercial arm of the Greater Las Vegas Board of Realtors, spoke on "Time is On Our Side". It was presentation on the recurring 18 year cycle in the real estate industry, specifically identifying where we are today. His predication is that we are in the third phase (a down phase) that will last 4-5 years, ending in 2012 or 13, at which time apartment occupancy rates will start to climb. This is a sign that rents will increase and thus the value of property will increase. His presentation is at this link |
