Our March 12, 2008, Meeting drew the highest attendance in the history of the Financial Club with over 350 people attending the presentation of Mr. Michael Gaughan. Mr. Guaghan is the Chairmen of Southpoint Casino & Hotel. The return of our 2007 Speaker of the Year was met with enthusiasm and excitement from those in attendance. Mr. Gaughan's down to earth, knowledgeable and humors account of the past, the present and the future of gaming in Las Vegas gave a rear insight into the gaming industry from one of it's true pioneers. We are sure that other people in Independence Hall that evening were wondering where the recurring applause and laughter were coming from. It remains our honor to have this unique individual appear before our Club. |
