Manish Jain, the Fixed Income Portfolio manager for Zacks
Investment Management, discussed how the recent stock
market has behaved relative to the Zacks forecasting model.
Stocks with high Beta's i.e. the bottom stocks in the Russell
3000, gained the most in 2009, which was contrary to the
Zack's model. However, during the past 3 months, value
stocks have gained the most which has helped Zack's
performance. His belief is that value investing will continue to
drive the market.
